From the makers of the iconic Bats Blood, we are delighted to extend our Romanian wine offering with this Umbrele Merlot.
Grown, produced, and bottled at the Cramele Recas winery, in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, this delicious Merlot is full of ripe dark fruit flavours, damsons, and loganberries. Vanilla lingers on the finish with a velvety mouthfeel. Incredibly moreish, and utterly delicious.
Umbrele Merlot is medium bodied, but full of jammy fruit flavours - blackcurrant, even a hint of dark chocolate, with warm tannins and a fine finish.
